Can someone tell what this is

I found this in a old yard that is right next to an old train station it is about the size of a dime and it is heavy the pictures are of front and back

It looks like a lead bale seal to me and that would be a perfect place to find one.



Basically,dry goods on ships,rails,were bound together and sealed with stamped lead and the seals were crimped with wire to either hold them together or to seal the contents of a box.it will be fun for you to Google the initials on your seal and see if you can find out what the product was,good luck!
