Ok, here I am in Western Pa looking out the window into the falling snow! It will go away some day and now is the time to get all the gear ready. I have everything in place but a shovel. I am looking into purchasing a Little Eagle Predator Model 58 to round out my "stuff". I saw it on a bunch of youtube's and it looks great. Small enough, light, and good looking sides for cutting through the earth. I usually do the detecting and my wife uses the digging tools and pinpointer. Any suggestions?

I use the Predator model 35 Piranha shovel and Model 31 C Raptor digger...a deadly combination! :occasion14:

I'm eyeing the Little Eagle to use for parks (small and not conspicuous).

Try the Model 31 C Raptor digger, I use it for most applications, looks like a garden tool and is tough as nails! :icon_thumleft:

I use a Lesch Digger and a 30 inch Sampson Ball handle shovel.

I still use my Lesch, for the woods and fields.

I just purchased a 32" Root Assassin and so far so good.

Thank everyone for your reply's and I changed my choice! I was looking into the Little Eagle but after watching more youtube's, I just ordered the Piranha from Predator Tools. I called as they offer a military discount. Thanks Professor of Engineering!
