Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend, with lots of great finds!
Yesterday started great for Chug, good thing we got there early! We hit our favorite beach, and within minutes, Chug hit a pocket spill! He found close to a dollar, and this bad boy!
He was in the area so long, I went to see what he was finding, and found this,
and also this cool item, 
its a beach blanket, it has handles and Velcro so its easy to carry. I found a bunch of white rocks, looked like they were used to make an aisle or something, I decided to decorate with them! 
I found this awesome chunk of drift wood, I have an idea for it.
Chug ended up with $2.28 in clad, I had $2.22!!!
One Nickle was from 1949!!!!!
His was the easy way, mine were a few here and there! My best find was a first,
There were four that were unopened, I accidently stabbed three with my digger, this one survived, until it was cold and Chug drank it.
Today was different, it was cloudy, and cool, we enjoyed the weather, so nice after the heat of the past week. We hit one of our favorite parks, we started walking down to the beach, and saw people setting up for a church event, baptizing people, we saw the many, many speakers, looked at each other, and said aw heck no, there is no way we would have been able to hear our machines or anything, they get so very loud! We headed down the beach, swinging as we walked, nothing but nails, can slaw and bottle caps, we stayed there for about an hour, Chug found two pennies, nothing for me but a sore arm.
The second park was better, we had to walk in as this park charges $5.00 each car!
As I was waiting for Chug to use the facilities, I noticed two people going down a path to the beach, they were quiet, didn't talk to each other. We reached the sand about five minutes after they did, we both watched as they kept sifting sand, looking for something. Chug walked up to them, and tried talking to them. He managed to understand them enough to find out the man had lost his hearing aid yesterday and they were trying to find it. Chug looked for an hour and a half, I was there about an hour, sadly we couldn't find it.There was a funny moment, Chug got a good signal and ended up finding one of his kids cars toy car! His face lit up with joy, he kept signing thank you. We found the party areas, logs had bottles and cans all over, also found many packets that had had pot in them. I came across a nice sized grey matter lying on the sand, Chug got two baby ones, I also found a golf ball, some nice Nike shorts for my son,
Chug found sunglasses, 
This was a heart breaker when I saw it in the sand, Chug found 46 cents in clad, I had 32 cents, on our way back up the beach, we tried one more time to find the hearing aid, still nothing. We were walking down the sidewalk, leaving the park to get to our truck, I just happened to look on the ground to my left, when I gasped and squealed, dancing the best I could! Chug thought I had gone bonkers at first, 
I grabbed it with my greedy little paws and held it up to Chug, my wonderfully funny husband sees it in my hand, and he asks "is that real?"
we talked to the people sitting by the trailer to collect money from people coming into the park, we talked to them for a few minutes, showed them rings we were wearing that we had found, we got to the truck, take off our packs and gear, and as Chug is loading things in, he looks down and realizes that his license was missing out of his waterproof container, which was hanging open! DOH! Like we can afford $50.00 for a replacement one! Thank goodness we didn't have to go far, it was on the road!This weekend was awesome, its so nice to be out, see nature and the surroundings, the birds were so sweet, except for the seagulls and crows. People keep asking if we found any treasures, we are still waiting for the one question to be asked, "What are you looking for?" to which we are going to answer "POKEMON!!"
