Can you help identify this item (presumably from 1929-31)?

Found in Hot Springs 4-6-2014. What is it? It looks like a lid to cosmetics, snuff, or a watch? I thought it to be a little too thin for a watch. Its brass or copper with a hinge. I also found a Ford Model T key in the same area.
