The Mole family is down in their home, when Momma Mole sticks her nose up out of the hole.
She thinks to herself; Wow, that smells like fresh apples!
Momma Mole asks Poppa Mole to come up and take a whiff. He squeezes his way up in next to her, sticks his nose out of the hole, and says; Wow, that smells like fresh apples!
Momma and Poppa Mole holler for Baby Mole to come take a whiff. Baby Mole tries to squeeze in next to his parents, but there just isn't any room for him. He gives up, and is just sitting there, down below, looking up at his parents.
Momma Mole says to Baby Mole; Can you smell it? Can you smell the fresh apples?
And Baby Mole says; Nope! All I can smell is molasses!
