Can you tell if this is a meteorite?

I found this while out metal detecting. It weighs 34.1 grams and is 2" long X 1" wide X 3/4" high.

It is a lot heavier than I expected it to be when I picked it up.

A magnet does stick to it easilly and it seems to have a little black crusting on it that you can see in picture 4.

Sorry but that looks like an earth rock to me. Maybe magnetite.

Frankly I can't tell from the pictures alone.

Need to file a small window into the interior using a carbon-steel file. Show the window as close and as clear as your camera will allow. Widmanstatten diagrams are almost a guarantee it is a meteorite. But again, won't know until we see the window.
