Canadian & American Silver In The Same Hole

In what might be one of the last detecting trips of the year I went to a few different spots hoping to score something cool. I wasn't disappointed..a wide variety of finds from a place where history is literally on top of history.


More trade beads....I found 50....one at a time.




I was lucky to find these dimes in the same hole. The Barber is a 1909 - S ....nice coin.




Assorted junk.




Pottery shards.




Coin signals that weren't coins.



I also found what I believe to be a stone scraper or celt...found in the same area as the pottery.

I would assume they are fur trade era....so what like the 1700's to late 1800's.
