Yesterday I did a lil detecting in my backyard. Quickly found a 1987 Canadian cent and a 1940 wheat. I know the Canadian is not old but when I found it, I was like
when I saw the maple leaves. It was the last coin I expected to find. It was deep, LCD read between 72 & 76 on the AT Pro and depth said 10+ in. & found it about 12 in. deep. Later found the wheat about 4 in. deep. Are Canadian cent/ coins something detectorist find often, especially in the south? Wheat looks like it was hit by a plow as my backyard used to be a corn field years ago.
Thanks for looking!
