Canadian Cents

[Coin Town]

Just got back from vacation ad brought home an old collection of Canadian Cents from years ago when my family lived in Toronto. I have over 16 lbs of them and the oldest so far is 1985...are there any key dates I should look for as I search? Also what is the Cu composition and date range for each? I plan to sort them according to Cu composition and roll them up together pulling out any key dates I find...any info is great and I will post my results once I manage to get through them all!!!

Never mind on composition...I meant weight...and I am going to sort them into three piles. Up to 1979 = 3.24 grams...1980-1981 = 2.80 grams and 1982-1996 = 2.50 grams. I'll sort them this way pulling out keys dates to find out how much Cu I have. Actually just found a king George! Nice!!!
