found by a lake in se mn believe its 1837. any info on possible years or anything else would be appreciated.

well that's definitely 1800's with that kind of corrosion. Looks like

I guess the banner beneath the oval, of which you included a picture, usually indicates which province it's from (is that right?). I can't make out what it says... But it doesn't seem to say Montreal on the right hand side... I think I see the letters SUPV, of which I'm likely reading at least partially wrong?

On the third pic, you can guess "C(ANA)DA S(OU)S" and then a "O" right on the opposite side, that would go well with "(PR)O(VINCE)". I guess the first link given by Ocean7 should indicate the right coin.

thanks for the input guys I for sure know it says half penny and 1837 on it with about 10 min. and a magnifying glass lol. cant get anything off the one side besides a few letters though.
