My dad got me this a few years back at the Royal Canadian Mint. Knew nothing about it so I looked it up last week. Found one on ebay that sold for $340.00. Anyone else have one of these or know anything about it?

Edit: There were at least four different issues of this coin so, perhaps, yours is different from the one I noted.
And yes, I've seen eBay sales between $197 and $280; strange, very strange.

It was minted in 2008 in a bird series. It is number
00530/25000 according to the certificate it came with
I've read that this is the most wanted for the collecters trying to complete the series and hardest to find now
