I don't go to Midas anymore.. EVERY time I was ever there, I no sooner got my butt set in the waiting room seat, when some grease monkey/sales guy was in my face saying "Sir can you come out here so I can show you this" trying to upsell something you don't need. The last time I was there, and the greasemonkey came out with the "can i show you this" line I went with him while he walked around my car with a tape measure telling me the distance from the frame to the lift rack was a 1/2" too close, and I needed new springs all around. So I asked him, is that with a full tank of gas and a 150 lb tool box in the trunk, or just the load of morons that would fall for that crap! Lower my car, I'm leaving.. Speedymuffler on the other hand plays no games, and you get the work you need.. Midas has funny commercials, and business practices...

went to them once for a Cat Converter & Muffler,
They wouldn't pull me in the garage because
the last garage I Was at cut the Converter
off & put a straight pipe in

claimed they wern't allowed to reinstall
a converter on a vehicle that didn't
have one on anymore.
