Went home last weekend to help a friend and took a few pics of what I grew up calling the Cannon Lot. Yellow house in rear on hill is post war [Civil War] residence of Henry Kidd Douglas. [Hagerstown, Maryland]

Boy, they sure didn't cut back on any of the adornment on that cannon. Love the patina of really old bronze... Interesting post.
