Went to the Brimfield antique flea market yesterday and picked up some cool things. Such as: a piece of scrap sterling from a broken vase for $1.00. About 2 ozt. A sterling vintage nail buffer for $1.00. A large coin silver serving spoon for $35. Several early coin silver coffin handle spoons for $63. And what I think the coolest thing, a buttstock of a Pennsylvania long rifle circa 1770. That was a trade for a Mexico sterling bracelet that was 0.68 ozt and a $10 bill!! I stopped at a guy later that morning who is a big time authority on early Americana and said that was a score. Probably $350 worth of parts alone. He's also a gunsmith.
