It is always great to see the fruits of your labor, and as such I check the kitco spot price at least once every day.
Of course, I find myself smug when it jumps and chagrined when it falls, but recently I have been wondering at what spot price does silver start disappearing from our rolls? I am beginning to find myself hoping for a steep fall- somewhere around $7 an ounce. Won't happen, I'm sure,
but that would put the value of a 40%er at a mere 2x face. Maybe we would see more?
If silver hits $20 per ounce, do we all start finding a new hobby, or move onto copper pennies or nickels that now have NO value (as the recent edict prevents melting them for metal content)?
I do not ask this because I base my hobby on how much fiat it takes to buy real money (Au Ag Etc); I would still do this if silver were at $2 per oz. I ask because I am genuinely concerned that something I enjoy may become fruitless with a little PMs rise.
