I took a trip up to a mine-site that is once again trying to get the wheels in motion. It's a small narrow vein mine of gold, silver, zinc, lead and some rare earth deposits. The finance people were there and the guy who's been plugging away at this mine now for over 40 years introduced me to them as, "the man we're gonna buy everything from". Well I hope that ends up being the case. This is the 4th small mine site here in Colorado that I've been in contact with that is trying to get back up and running within the last couple of years. I certainly hope they succeed, as it's been a tough time for the last two decades or more now, with the smaller mine industry and it's good to know it aint quite dead yet. This place is nice and close to home also which will be nice for a change if it goes and being in the alpine, I'll have some good opportunity to get some picture's up there through the seasons. I did feel a very slight hint of the coming fall, as I was up there in the thin air and that I like, as it lets me know the time of slowing down is on the way.
