Decent need to accomplish something like this with mine.

I could reproduce the same scenario fairly easy. Just dig out a baby carrot, place the ring around it and let it grow a few more weeks. Pull it out and take a picture and post it online as though it was some phenomenal coincidence. Make up a story how grandma lost here wedding ring out in the yard back in the 1960s, but it was found and given back to her a week before she passed away and then sit back and watch it go viral.
