Well all my dreams and prayers of ever finding a CC mint coin was destroyed yesterday... By my wife. She rarely goes detecting with me and has only found one silver coin before yesterday. It was a 1964 Rosie. Well I must say she made one hell of a 2nd silver ever find with a 1876 CC dime. This was the only cc minted coin I've ever witness being dug. It's always been on my bucket list to dig one. Glad she got it but man was I jealous. But it didn't stop there she later found a nice 1897 barber. She definitely broke into the 1800's with style. I think she found them because she didn't fuss when I bought my ctx3030 the other day. I haven't tamed the beast yet only found a few bullets so far but here's some pics of her finds.

Congratulations LAGold. That is one sweet coin your lady found. Never seen or heard of cc coin being dug in these parts. Wow, over 200 silvers in one place, thats incredible. Very good chance there's some gold coins there as well. Good luck

Sweet CC dime, but that 1897 Barber has some killer detail...and just may be worth more than the CC. The wifee seems to be a natural.
