I hunted in a lot that I have found over a dozen Minie Ball Bullets. It seems this location was used to clean the guns because all but one were either shot or pulled. I found a fired .58 and a .69. I also dug a piece of lead that has been carved on and looks like it was some kind of bullet, I'm just not sure so I could use some help with it. I tried to get some good pics but it was difficult to get focused. Thanks, David.

I'm not the bullet person, but I'm wondering if it could be an Enfield or Pickett? I really like carved bullets!
What is the diameter and height?
Neat find :)

Could it have been carved to make a pencil? Or make some sort of writing instrument?
