carved dog face rock

Very unique and interesting slab I found in Jackson Co. Mi on a river bank. Clearly the face of a dog carved in it. Possibly made of Banded ironstone formation, or an Agate. Any thoughts or information would be appreciated.

Just looks like a rock to me, no carving work at all.

The shape is definitely natural. Looks like it may be banded chert, and is quite the attractive piece. I'd love to find some spearheads knapped out of that sort of material.

Most assuredly a Labrador retriever... looks like a chocolate, but could be black. Probably named Digger.

You guys are looking at clouds, no artwork here. Its just a slab of rock... Yeah I see the shape, but nothing was cut or carved here.

Nice banding, but just a rock. No indication of anyone working it into a particular shape.
