Found this among my recent digs.I've dug several carved bullets but this is the most intricate to date.

That's awesome!!!! Carved lead really gets my heart pumping. It's the personal connection to history. You have to wonder what was going through thear mind. That's a really nice one. Thanks for sharing.

Well,it turns out that my carved bullet is just a modern shotgun slug.Sorry for any confusion,but it was mixed in with all of this other lead.

Yep it's a Foster type slug. Nice group of finds...d2

Found this among my recent digs.I've dug several carved bullets but this is the most intricate to date.

Even tho it's a Modern but old slug it still has a Cool design W/the Star & all.
It's got that "Mid-Range" patina going on.
