Got up bright and early to go to the biggest annual coin show in Vegas. But I also wanted to hit the casino and be back in time for the Oscars®. Made it with an hour to spare, woo hoo! Beefed up my Barber quarter and Walker collections. Casino results -

At last, my first [red]new[/red] wheatie date in over a week! Plus I finished a 1953-S roll for the first time.

Walking out of the casino, I glance down at my bucket of nickels and sitting on top is my third buffalo this year - 1917-S ;D ;D

Slim pickins today. Some of the coin show guys must've been hittin' the half slots. Or CLZ is one step ahead of me...;D

Tuesday is the next visit...

Immy you are a machine. Congrats on the finds once again. Do you sell coins or just collect?

Ha, thanks klava. I have done trades in the past with some of my duplicates, and last year I sold some 40% & 90% silver but right now I'm in collect/hoard mode. I still have some coins that I got back in the 70s.

Which of the four varieties is it? :)

I was going to ask last time you had one, but forgot to respond.

I originally wasn't paying attention since you hadn't listed the varieties in the Tracking List. The other day I gave myself a crash course in "small beads, large beads, pointed 5, blunt 5." Let me tell you, it's pretty maddening. And the close-up pix in the Charlton catalog aren't much help.

I've got about nine 1965's to examine so I'm forcing myself to learn the differences. Unfortunately the first 65 I found this year got jumbled into the mix so I have no idea which it is. I still have the one I found yesterday put aside so I'll give it a look-see once I get home.
