Phew, the skunk string is over! Box #9, date stamped 8/7/06, produced some good stuff. Seven 40%ers (66, 67x2, 68x3, 69), a 90% (64) and a holed 1991-D. Also got a 74-D with a heart stamped on Kennedy's head and a "5" stamped on the eagle's shield. "Five of hearts" maybe? This is Vegas after all.

Gotta hit the casinos tomorrow and make up for that CRH day off yesterday. I don't know what I was thinking! :D

Hey congratulations on the silver. The stamped halve sounds pretty cool, I've never seen one like that before!

Kudos on breaking that slump.

Hit those slots...and let us know.

BTW, aren't you hitting the half slots anymore.....or are they few, far between and close to extinction ?

I'm headed to Prescott, AZ in a couple of weeks and had hoped to find some half slots that still issued coin; vs a paper ticket.

Oh we still have 'em, about 40-50 in the downtown area. And I hit them at least once a week but the finds have been down a bit from last year. I used to average 10-12 silvers per $1000 but it's more like a half dozen so far this year. Some's better than none though! Good luck in AZ!

Glad to hear your string of skunks are history. Keep bringing that silver in. How many more of these boxes do you have to check?

Just three more lejeuene. They've been alternately really good and really bad, just CRH in general. I'll probably get #10 tomorrow. Stay tuned!
