Casper's been a ghost - my years end pics

Some have wondered where Ive been - because I have not post any hunts or finds of late
as of last night - ive been working 37 days straight without a day off - with the unseasonal
warm weather - I was hoping to get out a few more times - but not to be
so here are a few pics of my years keepers - I got into the water only about 41 times this year
but I got silver and/or gold just about every time out except once - there is some silver jewelry
and some silver coins missing - I put them on loan with a bunch of relics found in and around
Cape Cod waters to a museum that is doing a display soon on "Treasures from the seas"
I did ok for the time I did put in - I made a few "first" this year - 1st large cent found in water (ended up with 2)
- 1st 2 cent piece found in water to mention a few. Had a great year for silver halves - 11

I'm curious, never seen any from salt water.

You have to feel like bait in the water around the cape now. I was was in Salem at Winter Island Kayak Striper Shootout in August. Turned the news on early in the week to see 7 great whites spotted within site of one another off one of the cape beaches.

You have to feel like bait in the water around the cape now. I was was in Salem at Winter Island Kayak Striper Shootout in August. Turned the news on early in the week to see 7 great whites spotted within site of one another off one of the cape beaches.

I found 3 large cents this year - 1 from land hunt - 2 from saltwater hunt (they are on loan with other water relics to a museum)
I also found 11 indian head pennies - 3 from land - 8 from salt water
2 cent piece was from saltwater also

GOT 11 - IH PENNIES ALSO THIS YEAR - 8 FROM SALTWATER

its actually stamped 10k
Waterwalker was watching me from parking lot when I came up with those finds
he could not believe the large cents - I could not either when I pulled them from my scoop
pulled out that item and my GF said "Its marked 10k"
