This thing is made of bronze or brass and appears to have been crudely cast. I cooked it with my electrolysis setup in hopes of revealing some more detail. On it there is a small blob of what looks like some kind of really hard solder. The only thing I could come up with is that maybe it is a nonsparking tooth from a backhoe bucket, but I dont see any way of attaching it for that purpose. Any ideas?

Just my guess, maybe a brass ingot, used to melt into a product a company made.
