That's cool, did you dig it out of the ground or barn find or?
 

That's a nice one. With the straight line, the casting "gate", and the rounded ears, its 19th century manufacture. People still use them for big projects like apple butter, etc.

Now I have to find me some apple butter, it's been 20+ years I've had some.
