CEIA Metal Detector MIL-D1

I am new to the forum and I LOVE it! Recently, I was able to get a metal detector made by CEIA (model MIL-D1-V3.30). These are made for detecting landmines. Has anyone any experience or knowledge about these devices? I have not used it yet. Anyone?

Its Italian and the company are a major supplier to the U.N. of demining devices.
The major selling point was ease of use and some sort of auto ground balancing and tracking.
I don't think it will be much use for anything but relic hunting but it will be interesting to hear how you get on (if you can lift it!).
