Cellar Hole Pics/ Boxend wrench/Iron ring and couple of shell casings

Here are the pic of cellar hole and old home site where I found pocket watch and 2 wheat back last week. Today I went out for a while and found a few things.

To the left of the opening on hillside is where I found the watch.



To the left on other side of fence on edge of field I found the two wheat backs.


This I think is top of a wood stove. Or R2D2 flipped his lid.


This I found this afternoon, a box end wrench, iron ring and riffle shell which has Winchester 270 WIN


This little shell is kind of green looking and has US on the end. Not sure what CAL.

Thank you CM, So far the only thing old I found was the pocket watch, dating 1936 and the 2 wheat backs. The one I could read the date on was 1941, they were only a few inches down. I plan on trying to beat every inch of that spot. I search the field where the old school was suppose to be at, but didn't find anything.

Just incase you've not done it yet you might want to swing the detector over the walls themselves. That cellar took some time to build and it looks like it was well built which might indicate there are better things there for you to find. Keep at it and good luck and thanks for sharing your pictures and finds. Herb

Thanks Dman. I thought it was cool when I first saw it from the road. I just had to get over there and start investigating it. So far the watch is the only good thing found around there.

Thanks 63bkpkr. I'll keep that in mind when I get back there. THe floor is pretty muddy and the roof is concrete slabs and divided. Thinking I need to wait till I have someone with me before I go and check it. I know there been Cows up on top standing on it and it hasn't caved in yet. But better safe then sorry.

Very interesting place KW and some nice finds. The pics are great. If you hunt there this spring and a tornado blows up, you have a great place to hide in-unless the cows fall on you-LOL. HH, Quindy.

Thanks Quindy. Yea it make good protection. I think you been watching Twister to much.
But if it's only the one cow might not be so bad, but dropping the whole heard thats wandering around this area then I am screwed.
