Change

Sorry no pictures this morning. I had to go pickup my laptop from the repair shop this morning and I thought.... well, let's just do a little hunt while I was down that way while I was at it! I am always willing to throw in a little hunt! I went to the beach and although I didn't find any jewelry this morning I did manage to find quite a bit of change. I ended up with $3.21 in clad, a zipper pull, lots of tinfoil and some of those tiny little bottle caps - I think they are off those tiny little energy drinks. I found a lot of them this morning and not all in one place. I guess that they are going to become a regular find at the beach now. I also found a real nice beach chair and since I was still close to the car and the beach cleaner was coming.... I took it back to the car and put it in the trunk. I also found a bunch of plastic sand toys, a couple of sponge footballs and sponge frisbees that I usually do not bother to pick up but like I said the beach cleaner was coming and I was close to the car so I did this morning. I sometimes throw a few out in the parks that I go to for the kids to play with in the sand boxes. It's better than letting them get thrown away. It was kind of overcast this morning and I was waiting for it to start raining but it never did. It was real nice hunting when it is like that. Still it was nice to find a lot of coins and I'll take it!

Sounds like a very nice day! Good idea pickin up the toys before the cleaner got there and leaving them for kids! Recycling so to speak! Hope the laptop is in tiptop shape again!

Did you go to CWB, Mumzie? There was a pic in the St. Pete times of the spring breakers. Yeehaw, it looked like the 4th of July, I mean the beach was crowded. I don't hunt that far up the coast.

You did good today with the clad and what you do with the toys is very kind too.

I pick up all the little plastic toys that I find on the beach. My 3 year old daughter loves when daddy brings her treasure!

Yep, that is where I was this morning but I hunt several beaches not just that one. I've been watching the beach cams and that one is definitely starting to perk back up. Hooray for Spring Break!
