Hello all, Got back from work today about 17.00, had a quick drink and got detector out. Where I tend to detect is only a 30 min drive away, so at this time of year I can grab a few hours before it gets too dark. Once again it was pasture, the weather was very nice with warm sunshine. Had a nice hammered copper farthing of Charles 1 pre. 1644, a brooch in the shape of a bird prob. 20th century, and a very small medieval buckle 13th century approx. I stopped searching when the sun was dropping about 21.30.
