Myself and Gradywhite just joined the forum a few mins ago to do a little studying. I'm down 61 from you in West of the Ashley and Gradys out near the Toogadoo.
He and I are fairly new in detecting, but between the both of us we've some pretty nice finds.
The union ships Pawnee, Sonoma and the Daffodill sat offshore and fired K-shot directly at his property where the confederates were dug in. So finding pieces of shells fired from these 3 ships are fairly easy in his yard.
We may have to all meet one day, maybe a trip out to Folly.
