I'm interested in hearing from other detectorists in the Charleston area. I've been away from detecting for several years and would like to start back. Would like to find others who enjoy the hobby. I live in Summerville.

Charleston is an excellent area for finding Civil War and Revolutionary Period relics. Like anywhere, you have to get permission to detect. Some are completely off limits and some are right in people's yards.

With a little research, you may even find some excellent sites there in Summerville. Look at some of the old maps. There are also some great sites down near the Edisto River.
