Detector(s) used
Minelab Vanquish 340, Tesoro Silver uMax, Compadre, and BH Tracker IV.

Ex: White's Spectrum XLT, Tesoro Cutlass II Umax, and that circa late 70's red handled junk from RadioShack that started it.
Roadside desk yielded some gold. Bottom drawer yielded a gold earing, a necklace with crucifix amongst some assorted junk.

Also a house clean up dumpster yielded a bargain basement geode.

Nice post Thanks for sharing with us

I was doing a clean out of an apartment. The tenant had passed away and her family came and took what they wanted and left the place dirty, with cans of food and such still in the cupboards and while tossing everything out there was a Mason jar with cornmeal in it and I tossed it into the trash and heard clinking pulled it back out and found 4 silver dollars in it, 3 Peace dollars and one Barber. We didn't have a number for the family so they lost out and I gained.

Great finds! I probably wouldn't have stopped to look, either. Cool!

Thanks.

I checked many curbside furniture over the years. My first gold strike. :tongue3:
