Checking software on t2 se

Does anyone ever get this on screen when checking software on t2?. I hold down the menu button while pushing the trigger forward, then turn on t2.
Here is what I get on screen F+ F+ This is the 3rd t2 I have owned and the other two had 6.0 and 8.8 By the way this one is a Factory refurbished t2 se ltd model.

Hi digitanyway -

I haven't got a T2 yet, but can confirm the latest software in the GoldFinder2 is 8.8

F+F+ sounds kinda special - be good to know what it means .....

Thanks for the reply. I am sure someone on this forum knows what it means. I bought it from one of Teknetics dealers so I don't think it would be a fake.

Hmm that's interesting. Have you contacted First Texas to ask what it might mean? Mine gives the software version. 7.6 I believe.Got mine last September

No I haven't called First Texas. I might call them but I have a hunch it might have something to do with it being refurbished.
