Hi everyone, I hope you all are having a great week. Sorry it's been awhile, we've been busy helping a friend around her house. We were able to hit a beach, it was awesome having it to ourselves for quite a while.
The ducks were quite friendly and liked talking, til mama took them back into the water. My first find kinda freaked me out, the only reason why I found it in the first place was the staple stuck to it.
kinda funny and kinda gross to find part of someones tooth. The beach was loaded with garbage, I found 4 shirts, a pair of shoes, towel and Chug found a shirt and pair of pants. Chug really got lucky, til I saw it and called "Yoink!" 
Yep, he scored silver earring! We went to another park after that, and wouldn't you know it, Chug gets lucky again, and I called Yoink on that one too!
it's 10 karat white gold, with a sapphire, 8 small round diamonds and 4 baguettes. He did great that day, the only bad thing is a group of 4 women and a young man, and there were 7 or 8 kids between all of them, about 8 years or so and younger. We were doing our thing when they decided to turn on their boom box, loudly. I looked up, just to see what's going on, and that's when the problem started.Next thing I know, I hear them saying my hair was ugly, I was too old to be dressed the way I was, they laughed and laughed, saying how stupid we looked, they even said we were stealing cause what we find if anything we keep, turning the volume up and down, and switching stations, trying to get us to leave, Chug's half deaf, so he didn't hear much, but you know what, the children with them were seeing and hearing this going on, the grownups were using foul language, and we wonder why today's youths are in trouble, we finally did leave, but not cause of them.
We hit a school on the way home, and yep, Chug gets lucky again when he spotted this beautiful silver dragonfly, with the chain
she has a new home, I love her colors, and they are special to me.
Sunday we hit one that we haven't been to for awhile. we got there about 6:45 and we see a guy in the pond, no problem, he was in deep, Chug stayed around 3 to 4 feet of water, I'm going along the edge of sand and water, having fun. I kept finding grey matter, Chug got some clad, we soon notice there is another guy detecting a section of lawn, after a few minutes we sat down to rest. Soon we were back in the water, Chug was about 10 to 12 feet away from the guy when I heard him tell Chug "Get the F#@K away from me a$%^hole, I was here first!" Again, with Chug's hearing, he didn't hear him say it....but I did, WTF?!? I got so angry I wanted to ask him what his problem was. Not long after, he left. We hit the grass, got some clad and garbage, and decided to rest again, I haven't been feeling well, I'm on antibiotics, but wanted to go out anyway, I'm so glad we went to this park, and that I was able to go too!
We're sitting on a bench and the second guy walked up and started talking. He was very nice, he's been doing this hobby for about a year, his wife had decided not to come with him this time, so he was using her machine if I remember right. He told us about a club he's in, in portland that is getting a field ready for a large hunt, and what kind of stuff they plant for people to find, it sounds like fun. We must have talked for a good half hour, we hope to run into him again soon, he really made us feel better after the other guy was so rude, there was no reason for that.I'm off to work on a new piece of jewelry, take care everyone, stay safe and HH!
