Civil War and Native American on New Permission

Landed a new permission rumored to have a CW camp. After awhile of digging many shotgun backs my buddy broke the ice with a much needed 3 ringer. So i began crowding his space and managed 2 bullets, what i thought was a carbine casing and some camp lead. We decided to expand the search area to get on the camp, after a few hours of more shotgun backs and a complete horseshoe we headed for the low land near the river, along the way me and my daughter found an arrowhead. Darkness nearly on us we headed back to the picket site. My buddy called it a day and went for the truck, me and my daughter stuck it out a few more signals which located anouther 3 ringer this one being chewed on, and a round ball. Im posting the casing on "what is it" for a proper ID. Thanks for looking and HH!
