Civil War? button letter"N"

I found this today at the 1840 farm in southwestern Ohio and can't find anything in my button book or on the internet. Can anyone help? Scovill MFG Waterbury, Conn. "N" surrounded by wreath. Back appears to be silver plated as it is bright and shiny.

May just be a stock (generic) "N" button offered by Scovill, available to any organization, institution, business, or other customer requiring uniform buttons with that initial. Here's a similar one still offered by Waterbury, another major button manufacturer.

Reddie, you're correct in saying that and I have to confess that I am totally ignorant when it comes to posting pic's. So I ask the girlfriend to help me with it and she has no patience with my 20 words a "5 minutes" speed and usually just jumps in there and types a million miles an hour and says there you go. I don't have a clue what she did, but I can't seem to look a gift horse in the mouth.
