Good finds in one area today in Southeast NC.
Canteen has lovely dents and appears old with cap, hopefully Civil War. Best find in a long time. Close up of top cover added.
Shotgun headstamp REM U.M.C. Nitro Club No 12 circa 1915 (from other treasurenet posts).
Chain seems older, links are either eaten away or made by hand.
Found a bunch of small bullets, all sizes and kinds. Going back Sunday morn before Church.
Had the AT PRO 9 months and just discovered my biggest mistake: Keeping iron at 35 in all my searches. Guess what neat stuff dings under that...
