Civil War finds and some Unidentifiables... help needed

Hey y’all,

Went out today in Virginia and dig around for a few hours. Found some good items. Need help identifying the small bullet with the round top and the brass piece. Any help is appreciated!

The bullet looks like a 44 cal Hays but the 'Bulbous or rounded nose seems a bit odd' It would help to measure the bullet with digital calipers.

As for your other find , I have no idea , as someone said could be a latch or lever off something like that.

I do believe you found a latch of some sort. The bullet is awesome too! I'll have to add that style to my wish list, lol! Nice finds!
