Civil War Pistol Bullet

Today was a beautiful day in the 50's! Just 4 days ago there was about 3 inches of snow covering the ground. So I took advantage of the weather and went out to a couple of new locations. One was a small residential park, which just had trees, sidewalks, and a few benches. The best find there turned out to be a civil war pistol bullet! When I pulled it out of the ground I thought it was a modern bullet, but when I got home I saw the rings and it had the grayish white patina. I did not find anything special at the second location. Here are a few pics.
