✅ SOLVED Civil war site unknown find

[Bama Billy]

This was our second visit to this spot, 4 of us total and we all found either grape shot or musket balls. I found this thing, as you can see from the photos it’s threaded. One of my hunting buddies thought it might be cannon ball related but was sure. Any help is much appreciated.
