I'd be afraid to try it.. What, heat it up and start banging. I doubt I'd get it back perfect.

No markings on this one. Made of brass or copper. I guess copper. Found a JEB Stuart Sword hanger and Musket ball 20 yards from it and a .58 Cal Mini ball not two feet away.
 

That would be a great spatula for flipping burgers a double flipper just a thought . Nice old relic I love history and stuff like that Thanks for sharing it
 

Can't help on an ID but, it sure looks Sweet!! Congrats!!
I wouldn't try to straighten it, I'd leave it just as it is.
