a clevis pin from a wagon...not necessarily from the Civil War

It is a wrench for an old fashioned square bolt - a big one. Jaw is perfectly square.

Somewhat different. The one I have does not have the raised lines at the "head" of the wrench, or the "stop" piece nor a hole in the handle for pin. Mine was found in an artillery camp, 6th Corps. There is very little trash there. It looks similar also to a naval fuse wrench, but it again, is slightly different.

Maybe older and a little more primitive. Made in the camp maybe.

Axle nut wrench for a wagon, often used as the bolster pin as a place to keep it.
