Well I went out to check on an area that I found a 1887 IH penny to see if I could find some silver. The house was a 1800's home that was torn down last year. I found the IH right where the old sidewalk use to be @ 6". There was some guys cutting the lawn at my spot so I decided that I would go into town and detect where some old stores use to be and all I was able to muster was a few clad coins. I found a pocket spill (2 dimes and 3 pennys) but I kept getting a strong 42 to 46 signal on my Minelab next to where the spill was. After a little digging I found my first Sterling Silver Ring!!! It's missing the center stone but non the less it was stamped sterling inside the band. The next ring came under the base of a tree not too far from the 1st. This one has 925 stamped inside the band. I'm Geeked!!!
