For those who spend their clad, you might wanna hold onto it for awhile. I just talked to the owner of our local coin collectors shop and he said the value of our clad is headed way up. I've always hated the way our clad coins would disintegrate once left in the ground for any length of time, as compared to anything pre 1960. but this is exactly what causing their value to rise do to their becoming more and more rare at a faster rate. The cheaper they make them the quicker they disintegrate and the faster they are becoming rare.
