Claim on transmisson line right of way

Claim owner owns the minerals no matter what the right of way. Doesn't matter if it's a road or a transmission line.

Heavy Pans

If BPA hauls away a truckload of gravel, call the sheriff and report Mineral tresspass

Depending on where you're located and whether or not you have a claim on the mineral rights, you may be entitled to compensation for not being able to work the right of way.

BPA has an easement to run their lines across the property. This easement also gives them the right to restrict permanent structures under the lines, everything has to have wheels on it and you cant store anything that has fuel in it. It is also prohibited to run machinery under the lines like excavators for safety reasons. When you are digging be mindful that in addition to overhead lines there is at least one ground conductor buried underground connecting each tower, they get pissed when you cut these.
