Claiming an old mine?

Hey folks. Anyone know about the process of claiming a mine from the 1950-80’s that’s not longer claimed? Will I need to go through the process as if it was never claimed? Or would I need to treat it differently if the record is still on file with the BLM and county recorder?

File a claim with the BLM as if never claimed, if it’s on Utah state trust land you will need to get a lease. Good luck!
