Looks possible to me. I don’t know the type.A swamp is being cleared out in Delaware & a lot of shells are being uncovered. Could this be a shell fossil and what type of shell is it?

If so, it would have to be a fossil since both are long-extinct groups of the Oyster family. Exogyra, and Cretaceous would be more likely for Delaware, in which case those are neat finds.
