Cleaning coins

Well It depends on what kinds (metal, age etc.) some old coins well lose value if you clean them, for crappy clad just use a rock tumbler, or don't even clean them and just toss them in a coinstar(coin counting macine). For large cents heated peroxide seems to work. Silver really doesn't get that dirty, remember be very careful when cleaning if you rub off the patina( which can some times be very fragile) You will ruin any value the coins have. There is another area of the forum just for cleaning go there for more detail on the methods.

Hope That Helps!
