Hi all! I don't post that often but really enjoy reading about everyone's finds!! I found a CASE IH watch fob with an eagle standing on the world. It is quite corroded but I did happen to find the exact one on the internet that said it was made of nickel. When I look at mine the raised eagle and world look like copper and the rest is silverish (nickel?) Does anyone know what I would use to clean it?? Thanks for all your help in the past.

Hi, Suz. If the top is corroded off, then the rest my come off, too.

Do you think that it has value?

If not, get some 4 0000 steel wool and try that after a good soap and water cleaning with a tooth brush. Use an old one not a family member's. ;D

Unless you and a family member are at odds. But NEVER tell anyone. That's a rule.
Sounds like a good find, Good luck.

Definitely not the right thing to do. Save the toothbrush for cleaning the toilet with ;D

My sister told me in later years, that when we got into fights when we were kids, she used to shave the wall with my razor to make it good and dull. ;D
